Looking for a pup
Richard begins his search for a pup and we talk about what breeds would be suitable.
Hi Kaye,
I'm getting a great deal from your web site. The way you break tasks down in
the Q&A section is very similar to how I train horses. The logic is often
counter intuitive to non-training folk.
Have you had anything to do with Boston Terriers. They were popular when I
was a kid, but I don't see them much these days. Might one be good for me?
The no fuss coat is appealing in a muddy wet place like Hidden Farm.
The black and white mini poodle I told you about is still a strong
contender. I'm waiting to hear back from the breeder. When I spoke to her
last, the bitch had not accepted the pups after her ceasar? If poddied pups
are anything like poddied foals I'll be steering clear. Horses can turn into
very tricky brats if they are not mothered well, I'd guess it would be the
same with dogs.
Cheers,
Richard
